Founded in 1910 in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Champagne Salon has combined the outstanding with the unique to create:

• a single wine, the “Cuvée S” Blanc de blancs,
• a single grape varietal: chardonnay,
• a single cru: Le Mesnil-sur-Oger,
• a single year which is always a vintage.

Salon is a wine for demanding connoisseurs seeking rare, unique and uncompromising wines. In 2008, Champagne Salon released its 37th vintage, Salon 1997.

This extremely delicate, sublimely understated and subtle vintage has been qualified as “feminine”.

Its ageing potential, a distinctive sign of the greatest wines, is reckoned in terms of decades.
